Section 01

Who We Are

Sim Owner Details (called "we," "us," or "our" below) is an independent, Pakistan-focused educational website. We exist to help Pakistani citizens understand how to use PTA's (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority's) official SIM verification tools β€” the 668 SMS service, the cnic.sims.pk portal, and the 667 USSD code among them β€” safely and within the law.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, NADRA, FIA, or any licensed mobile operator (Jazz, Zong, Telenor, Ufone, SCO).

Important: We don't have access to PTA's SIM registration database. We don't check, verify, or retrieve anyone's SIM details on their behalf β€” we publish educational guides only.

How We Use Your Information

We only use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • To run and improve the website β€” knowing which guides get the most use helps us write better content and fix pages that aren't working well.
  • To respond to your enquiries β€” when you fill out our contact form, we use your name and email to reply to your question or feedback.
  • To show relevant ads β€” our advertising partners (see Section 6) use cookies to display ads suited to your interests. Ad revenue is what lets us keep every guide free.
  • To keep the site secure β€” server logs help us catch spam, bot traffic, and suspicious activity.
  • To meet legal obligations β€” we may process or share data where required by a Pakistani court order, an FIA directive, or a PTA regulatory requirement.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise commercially hand over your personal data to any third party for their own marketing.

Advertising Partners

Sim Owner Details shows ads to help keep our educational content free. Our advertising partners may use cookies and web beacons to gather non-personally-identifiable data about your browsing so they can serve relevant ads.

Our current advertising partners may include:

  • Google AdSense β€” contextual and interest-based ads managed by Google LLC
  • Adsterra β€” performance advertising network
  • Monetag β€” display and push notification advertising
Interest-Based Advertising: You can opt out of interest-based ads through youronlinechoices.com or the NAI opt-out tool. Opting out won't remove ads entirely β€” it just makes them less tailored to your interests.

We don't control which individual ads appear. All ad content comes from our advertising partners based on context or inferred interests, and we take no responsibility for the content, claims, or privacy practices of any advertiser.
